Night to Shine is open to anyone with special needs ages 14 and older. Complimentary tickets are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room, a catered dinner, prom favors for each honored guest, a Respite Room for parents and caretakers, and, of course, dancing! The highlight of the night comes when every one of the Night to Shine guests is crowned a king or queen, the way God sees them each and every day.

We encourage you to dress up in your favorite formalwear (dress, gown, suit or tux) or whatever makes you feel beautiful or handsome!

Our menu includes a wide variety of dishes and desserts, including gluten free options. Please note that food cannot be pureed. If puree or any other special diet is needed, we ask that Caregivers plan accordingly and bring a meal.

Yes! Buddies eat dinner with their guests at the seated banquet dinner. Other volunteers working stations during the evening will have a breakroom with food provided.

Yes. However - Caregivers must remain with their Guest until they are matched with a Buddy. After the Guest is matched with their Buddy, Caregivers may leave or enjoy the Respite Room activities.

No, Night to Shine is a complementary event for honored guests and their caregivers. Volunteering is free, however, volunteers have an option to cover the cost of their own background check, which is $10.
